> Host the atrby script on your own domain by copying the file and pointing data-api elsewhere; forwarding events through your own server is not supported yet.

Serve the script from your own domain. A managed first-party proxy for events isn't available yet.

## Host the script yourself

Copy `https://app.atrby.site/atrby.js` to your own site and point the tag at your copy. Events still go straight to atrby, so nothing else changes. Copy the file again after updates to get fixes.

*index.html*

```html
<script defer src="/js/atrby.js" data-site="st_your_site_key" data-api="https://app.atrby.site/api/ingest"></script>
```

## Proxying events

`data-api` can point events at any URL, but forwarding them through your own server isn't supported yet.

**Why not yet.** Unique visitors and country come from the visitor's connection as Cloudflare sees it. Through your proxy, every visitor would appear to come from the proxy's address and location, so visitor counts and countries would be wrong. A managed proxy that keeps them correct is planned.
