Data and retention

Where your data goes, from the first pageview to the dashboard, and how long it stays.

Updated 21 Oct 2026

The path of an event

  1. The script sends events to /api/ingest on Cloudflare's network, close to the visitor.
  2. Bots, link prefetches and unknown hostnames are dropped. The visitor id is computed from a daily salt, and the IP address is discarded.
  3. Events are stored in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. Accounts, sites, team, goals and payment records live in Cloudflare D1.
  4. Every night, each site's previous day is summarised to Cloudflare R2, so long ranges stay available after raw events expire.
  5. Payments arrive by signed webhooks and are matched to visits with the ids from your checkout.

How long data is kept

Raw eventsAbout 3 months (90 days). Sessions, funnels and payment matching look back this far.
Daily summariesKept while the site exists. They power the 12-month view: totals per day and the top 50 rows per breakdown.
PaymentsKept while the site exists, including the customer email and name your processor sends.
Daily saltDeleted when the next day's salt is created.

Exports and deletion

Payments export as CSV from the Revenue screen. Stats are available as JSON through the REST API. To delete a site's data, or a customer's payment records, email us from the workspace owner's address.

Everything runs on Cloudflare. No data is sold or shared for advertising.
